Achieve lasting health and wellness for both you and your pet using Canine Mirroring Therapy®️

A ground-breaking new approach developed by Gaby Portilla.

What is Canine Mirroring Therapy?

Canine Mirroring Therapy is a revolutionary approach to overall health and well-being that relies on valuable information gained through the subtle (and sometimes not-so-subtle) clues our dogs give us through their own health and behavior.

If you would love to:

  • Be able to trust your dog
  • Understand the real cause of their behavior
  • Stop yelling and having to use control techniques to get him to do what you need
  • Improve the bond between you
  • Be able to leave her alone at home without any worries
  • Enjoy your walks
  • Improve their behavior without the need of more training
  • Stop using punishment or treats as the only way to get the results you want

¡Dog Sensitive® is for you!

How does CMT® work?

Dogs are highly sensitive beings that are uniquely tuned-in to our energy fields. They are finely-tuned empathic instruments that have been calibrated to the human nervous system through thousands of years of evolving together. There’s a reason they have been called “man’s best friend”.

Because of this attunement and sensitivity, our dogs pick-up on and absorb our stress, negative emotions, and disharmonious energetic states, especially the ones we’re not aware of. These emotional blind-spots can cause a wide range of imbalances within our own systems, such as fatigue, depression, anxiety, and even chronic disease. They can also cause these same symptoms and imbalances in our beloved pets.

Obviously, our dogs can’t just come out and tell us about these imbalances with words, but they can communicate them to us.

Through their health symptoms and problematic behavior, we can discover what imbalances exist within our own field, if we know what to look for and how to interpret what we find. And that is exactly what Canine Mirroring Therapy®️ is designed to help us do.

The beauty of it is, once we address these imbalances within ourselves, not only do we experience greater personal health and well-being, but our dog’s health and behavior also improve dramatically.

Hi! I'm Gaby Portilla

As the creator of Canine Mirroring Therapy® and founder of Dog Sensitive®, I specialize in studying the dynamics between humans and dogs and am one of the most recognized canine consultants in Latin America. I'm a pioneer in Mexico and Latin America in positive reinforcement and affectionate communication with dogs.

For the past 15 years, I've passionately dedicated myself to understanding dogs as a species and as individuals, as well as the relationship we have with them, spreading the message in various places and through different mediums...

WHAT WE FOLLOW

A dog's purpose and life mission...

Apart from just being sensitive energetic instruments and a sort of living barometer for our health (as if that weren’t enough), our dogs are also advanced spiritual teachers who have come into our lives for a reason.

As a species, they are special agents of Mother Earth, “assigned” to the human race to help us build a bridge back to our animal selves and reconnect with Nature.

As individuals, they have a wide variety of lessons that they come to teach us personally, from how to lose our fear of death and dying to how to stop taking ourselves so seriously and be more in the present moment. Above all, they come to show us how to love more deeply.

in dog sensitive® we work with three guiding principles

Freedom

Dogs need to be able to be dogs and express themselves in the world from their own perspective.

Nature

It's essential to understand the nature of a dog as a species and as an individual with a unique personality.

Bonding

The bond between humans and dogs should be built on trust, respect, and true connection (not control and power over dynamics)
